Chapter 2

Summary:

I chose Non once again as the main one to go back in time, but...

Notes:

This one will be a little different, I'll write a small excerpt of the idea I had; it's a little introspective (and pessimistic initially) but otherwise it's meant to define the character's initial personality.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Non (4)

Non looked at the envelope in Tee's hands, it's been a long time, so much so that he has no idea how much, but apparently it was enough for Tee to regret it and try to make up for it. Not that it changes anything or brings your life back to the way it was.

Non is exhausted. And tired of being exhausted. Even though he doesn't want to, some news ends up arriving, so he knows very well about his parents' death... it's strange, he's a little grateful but he wonders, where was all that love when he was right there? Make no mistake, he would cry for their loss if he could, but he can't even muster up the energy for that.

Tee isn't as discreet (or careful) as he believes, so Non knows exactly how everyone in that little group and their new additions are doing... The world kept turning and they all live well. He wanted to feel indignation, a little sadness or at least some anger but he doesn't have the strength for that anymore. He was easily disposable. So that's what happened.

Tee continued looking as if he wanted to say something more, but before he could Non took that envelope from his hands, looked at him once more and went back to “his room”. He threw himself onto the small, dirty mattress and stared at the cracked ceiling. It was still daytime and he had a dilemma: sleep so that day would end sooner or stay awake so that another shitty day would take longer to come?

Exhaustion won and he fell asleep… though…? This mattress feels softer than usual. And is there a blanket on top of it?

Opening her eyes Non comes across her old room. “Am I hallucinating again?” Ask yourself. Strangely, beyond this initial surprise he has no other reactions. A second chance, a miracle granted by Buddha or Buda, a blessing from God… should he care?

Non lies down on the bed again, closing his eyes covering himself ignoring your father's call to go to school, having no idea that even though he didn't care, he changed the story: he went back to before he even suggested the story of the short film to his friends... and if it were up to him, he wouldn't do anything.

Strangely, even without his contribution, the group didn't forget that greasy is a good screenwriter and he would be perfect writing his horror project... He wouldn't deny this wonderful opportunity, would he?

The general idea is that Non feels a little more “cold” and indifferent caused by the fact of what he went through and the information he had - even if some of it was incomplete.

He won't actively seek to change things but because of his new attitude he inevitably will.

Notes:

Again, it was just some idea I had and I'm inspired to share it with you, I hope you like it. And if I have other ideas, I'll post them in a new chapter.

Sorry for the mistakes in agreement, english is not my first language and I wrote this with the help of the translator.

Take care guys ~

Notes:

So, what do you think?
I want to write about other ideas in the future, whether from DFF or other fandons that I enjoy.
I like playing with crossovers too...
