"Where is it? I've got to find it."
Marinette stopped just outside of Nightwing's room at Mount Justice, wondering why Robin was looking for something in Mount Justice. Her head tilted, remembering what Robin said the other day.
" That's why I'm here, and he's there, in a coma. "
Marinette's mouth frowned, her hand reaching up to knock on the door, knowing her friend needed her yet again. Her frown deepened upon hearing no answer from inside. "Robin?" she said softly.
Letting out a sigh, she opened the door and saw Robin looking under the bed, but looking at the room, she took in the variety of circus things in Nightwing's room, which were items she found unique compared to others her age or even slightly older. "Where is it?"
"Robin!"
Robin startled, hitting his head on the bottom of the bed. A groan escaped from his throat, then came the curse word. He was certainly different than Nightwing, not that she cared.
"What are you looking for? Should you be in Nightwing's room?"
He paused, remaining under the bed. "You know he's in a coma."
"That's not really an excuse to go into his room, though, is it?"
"I-the doctor said we should surround him by familiar things, but I can't find it."
"What is it?"
"It's a stuffed elephant."
Ladybug's eyes blinked. "I thought that was yours."
He hit his head again and let out a groan before sliding out from underneath. "What do you mean by that?"
"I saw it in your room."
"When?"
"It was on that last mission when you were injured, you know. Nightwing, he brought it from home and put it by you while you slept, so I thought it was yours."
"That idiot," Robin muttered, hurrying out of his room. Ladybug followed, smiling as she did so, but his room was more normal for a teenager. He glanced around, then dove. "Ah. There it is!"
He pulled it out, dusting it off, but she got a better look at it. "It's rather cute."
"So like him, huh?"
"I guess. It's not something I'd think of him having. I mean, we're in our teens now."
"Yeah, but its something super important to him, and not just because its a comfort item, though when he's sick its a good idea to have around." Robin swallowed. "Also, thank you for helping me find it. I don't get why the idiot thought it would help me out."
"You're welcome, and I'm not giving up on him coming out of that coma."
