    I personally think and have thought that Angel deserves to be staked. He does more harm then good. And the "good" he does is with the thought that he will be rewarded for it. In my eyes he lost what little bit of good guy cred he had left when he locked they lawyers in with Darla and Dru.

      Yes, but he's such a great villain for writers!
      And the conflict is so much stronger because Spike loves him. He's really a great character to work with.

        I really like that about your stories - that you show both sides of the Angelus/Spike relationship. So many fanfic authors just wrote the affection angle or just the hatred, but these characters are deeply complex. Thank you for avoiding the one-note labeling.
