    Well this chapter may as well be titled Despair. Sephiran is an interesting choice but it fits his character well to heal her, by I can't help but wonder why he brought up a promise.
    However this is a perfect reason she can't go back to her friends; I was worried that if she had her memories but was still out in the wild leaving friends it would make me not root for her, but for years she is literally trapped in a cathedral where she'll die if she steps outside which is a very justifiable reason.
    Okay I'm gonna be honest, if Elena is going to still be around then I hope she''ll be used sparingly, like if Reader needs help with training or something super relevant like Goddess or family talk🙍 because having her say her input for everything would lessen the impact of her death in my opinion.
    Also I was just waiting for us to transition to the others reactions on Reader's "death." It didn't happen but I can picture it clearly, all of her laguz friends are completely devastated and Reyson especially probably screaming since the one beorc he held his faith in was supposedly killed by those humans. Tibarn and the rest holding their anger on the inside but exuding agressive energy. While Ike and Mist were sad and crying with Greil only being able to hang his head in guilt😢.

      Sephiran's character is one of the most enigmatic of the Tellius serie, he's someone whose actions are only explained in RD. Which is why MC is sure he's not helping her out of the goodness of his heart (is she wrong or right ? Idk, I'll let you think abt)

      Lots of promise, not a lot explanations, my FAV

      The loss of memories would've meant her witnessing Elena's death would've had no consequences (and traumatized her later on when she remembers, but this doesn't right to me), and her leaving her friends thinking she's dead willingly would've made no damn sense. Thus, she had to have ALL her memories, BUT be unable to reunite with anyone.

      Elena's role will be a spiritual guide : only here to help when MC needs her the most (tho she'll first deny Elena's soul being around her)
