    yes, i could never forget that scene xD ig i tried to have it implied when i wrote that hawkins was busy with the straw hats, all that was kinda included in that.

    and yes, knowing hawkins's power it would have been odd for him to not suspect anything, thats why i sprinkled some moments in the fic (before this chapter) alluding to hawkins knowing. which makes the context of this story make sense with canon as well because i think hawkins is the one that snitched on drake to queen, right? if he was pissed at him and even had time to plan it im sure hawkins would be bitter and petty enough to do something like that lol anyway, thanks for reading!
