    It's some 8000 words and constantly growing in a mostly disorganized mess of notes and revisions, a lot of which probably won't even get mentioned in the fic lmao

    ...maybe I should tag world-building, but that makes it sound so serious. I just figured if I was going to come back and make a gift of this story I should do it right.
