    the happy noise i let out when seeing the email notification!!! weeeeeeeeeee absolutely made my day <3
    boy was reading about the aftermath of the previous chapter painful ueueueue but also! the meeting between Jiraiya and Iruka, the jab at Jiraiya's absence was reallyyyyyy hahahahaha i was like "RIGHT!!! TAKE THAT!!!!" (i have complicated feelings about Jiraiya) but him spilling the beans about Kakashi talking about Iruka. "excessively". i wanna say gushing heeeheeeee he 100% knows something's up with these two. and then admitting to his fault in his absence! that was rather nice to read, honestly. ALSO ALSO!! it's nice to read Iruka questioning Hiruzen's actions and motives. true, he did want to be Naruto's guardian, but what about free will? what about manipulation? idk idk, sure it was for the best but Naruto still had to suffer from the village's neglect and hatred, and i still think Hiruzen could've easily done something about it.
    anyway! thank you for this chapter hehehehehee it was really really nice!!

      I'm happy you liked it!

      I definitely have complicated feeling about a lot of the characters in Naruto, and Jiraiya and Hiruzen are just two of them.
