Chapter Text

"Why......FUCKING WHY!?" Gohan roared as he punched the ground in front of him. Most everything he knew from his childhood was a lie! He was a full Saiyan, not a hybrid, and Vegeta was his father. The same man that tried to KILL HIM WHEN THEY FIRST MET is his birth father. And to make matters worse, not only did his mother keep it from him, but Uncle Raditz, Aunt Chi-Chi, Nappa and even Piccolo knew! Granted, Piccolo STRONGLY protested, but still was sworn to secrecy by the Son Family. Only Mr. Satan and Buu also agreed that the decision was unfair to Gohan

"WHY DID THEY NOT WANT TO TELL ME THE TRUTH!? WHY DIDN'T I GET TO KNOW!?" Gohan's rage was erupting within him, having him transform into Super Saiyan, then Super Saiyan 2, then into Ultimate. "WHY DON'T I DESERVE TO KNOW MY HERITAGE?!" With this final cry, Gohan's aura erupted, and he was ingulfed by a blinding light. The last thing Gohan recalls hearing is Videl crying out his name before Gohan's engulfed in his own rage.

Gohan came to the ground, in the middle of a crater. "Gohan...?" Videl asks nervously as Gohan turns to face her. "Videl, what seems to be the ma-" He asks, but then notices it. The calmness of his Ultimate form swallowed by the rage of a Super Saiyan. He flies over to the ocean, and sees his reflection. His hair is spiky white, and his eyes are a burning red. "This form....This is my Potential Unleashed." Videl takes out a scouter made by Bulma and tries to scan Gohan, but the scouter explodes when she tries to scan.

"Whoa....That scouter could handle power levels over 100,000,000,000!" Videl calls out to Gohan, as he floats down. "This is a Beast of a transformation all right," Gohan says in confidence. "So what are you going to do now..?" Videl asks, already having intuition on the answers. Gohan simply smirks and confirms it, "I'm going to go teach them a lesson. I'll get even with them for the part of my life withheld from me by force, with their lives."

"But why stop there?" A third voice asks, as Gohan and Videl turn towards a shadowy figure. "The crimes your family committed are very few compared to the crimes mortals across the Universes commit on the daily. There could be 10, 100, 1,000 more children like you growing up not knowing their father. Could be a deadbeat, could be withheld from them, could be murdered, all failures of mortals. That is why I ask you to help me wipe them out, and start anew from scratch."

Gohan starts to think and then replies, "You're wrong about one thing." The figure tilts his head and responds, "Oh? And what is it?" Gohan says, "Piccolo, Videl, Mr. Satan, and Buu are the only family I have left." The figure then smiles and extends a hand. Gohan takes it and asks, "So, can I know my associate's name?" The figure then says, "Of course you can. My name is........"

"Zamasu."

"Are you sure about this Gohan?" Gokua asks him, "Space is a pretty.....unconvential place to have a honeymoon." "We'll be fine mom!" Gohan says, desperately trying to bite down his resentment. "It'll just be for a few months or so anyways!" Videl chimes in, while also trying to comfort her dad. "Alright, I'll trust you. But please don't die on me Videl!" Mr. Satan chokes out, with Buu helpfully saying, "You no hurt Mr. Satan!" Piccolo then approaches Gohan and Gokua.

"Remember to be safe, stay healthy, and use these." Piccolo says, tossing Gohan a box. "The last time a Saiyan from Earth went into space, the Saiyan population increased, so at least be ca-" "PICCOLO!" Gokua yells out, with a noticeable blush on both her and Vegeta's faces as Raditz, Nappa, and Tarble laugh their asses off. "Damn Namekian, did you really do that?" Vegeta says, as Piccolo nods, to the Prince's Chagrin. "I'm being responsible." He notes.

Gohan and Videl at this point are blushing about as hard as Gohan's parents. "Don't worry Piccolo, we will." Gohan manages to get out before he and Videl rapidly fly into the ship. "BYE GUYS!" They yell as the ship door closes and blasts off into the atmosphere. Once in the atmosphere, Gohan and Videl take a moment to relax before laughing. "Your acting was incredible!" Videl says to Gohan, who responds, "Hey, don't sell yourself short honey!" "Can we get to business now?" Zamasu notes after teleporting in.

"So, where to first?" Gohan asks, before Zamasu replies, "You were the one who suggested we need powerful forces, but I have been looking. Our first stop: Planet Vampa."

The trio of Darkness arrives on Vampa, and quickly locate the two highest power signatures on the planet. The two Saiyans on Vampa turn to look at them in shock. "What?!" Paragus cries, as Broly gets ready to fight. "Relax, we're not here to fight." Gohan says, descending down. "You're a Saiyan, aren't you." Paragus says, and Gohan replies, "Yes, but for the longest time, I thought that I was a hybrid. My mother, the Saiyan Kakarotta, kept the truth of my father from me. And even after he learned the truth, Prince Vegeta still agreed to keep this from me until recently."

"Vegeta!?" Paragus cries, and Broly looks at him in confusion. "Who's.........Vegeta?" Broly asks, but Paragus gives him the answer almost immediately. "The reason we're on this hellhole is BECAUSE of Vegeta's father. He sent you off to die because all you did was be stronger than the Prince at birth!" Broly is just in shock, before rage starts to build within him. "Vegeta.........VEGETA..........!" His aura starts to flare before Gohan grabs his arm.

"Our goals are aligned, make Vegeta pay. We can help you control your power if you and your father join us." Broly looks at Gohan, grabs his arm, and smiles maliciously. "Let's do this." Zamasu and Videl look on in pride, before Zamasu says, "Welcome to Team: Zero Mortals, Broly."

Nappa's training in the Gravity Room, trying to break past Super Saiyan 2, but all of a sudden has a bad feeling overtake him. "Why do I feel like we should've just stabbed the baby instead of sent him to Vampa after all?"

Zamasu arrives at his next destination: Planet Cereal. Granolah immediately jumps to attack him, but Zamasu raises his hand. "I mean you no harm, on the contrary, I come to provide assistance." "In what?" Granolah pushes, with Zamasu responding, "Your vengeance." Granolah immediately lowers his hand, a signal for Zamasu to go on. "The remaining Saiyans have been thriving as of recently, however the eldest of these 'New Saiyans' was lied to about his heritage until he was a young adult, and as such is out for revenge, being joined by me, his wife, and two more Saiyans that were exiled and scorned by the royal family. I, Zamasu, come as their representative to ask for assistance against the remaining Saiyan warriors."

Granolah takes a step back, clearly making decisions about all of this, so Zamasu decides to up his game. "On the planet of Namek, there are a set of items called Dragon Balls. They have been used many times to resurrect people, and can be used.....on your mother." That has Granolah immediately snap to attention, and he nods quickly, "I'm in, I'm in!" Monaito looks on, clearly disturbed about this, but Zamasu smiles and signals Team Zero Mortals to arrive on Planet Cereal.

Their ship arrives in an hour, with Gohan, Videl, Paragus, and Broly, now in Ikari form, walking out. "These are the rest of Team: Zero Mortals. Gohan, the one in the purple Gi, Videl, his wife, Paragus, the old man, and Broly's the buff one." Zamasu explains, as Gohan extends his hand for Granolah to take. "Thank you for this." Gohan states, before walking into his home and notices the Dragon Ball on the mantle. "A dragon ball?" "It's useless without the other one, but yes, it's a dragon ball." Monaito answers, and then Gohan smiles. "Then we find the second one, and get Granolah his mom back."

It takes a very long time, but between all of them, the second of the two Cerelian Balls is found, and Toronbo is summoned. Granolah raises his hands wildly, "I WISH TO RESURRECT MY MOTHER!" But Toronbo shakes their head. "No, that is beyond my power. I can only resurrect people who have been killed up to ten years ago." "Ten years...?" Gohan asks, before stepping up. "Let me try a wish." Granolah nods, and Gohan raises his hands. "I wish...... for Cell to be revived on this planet."

"Your wish is granted." Toronbo states, as their eyes glow red.

The last thing Cell remembered was being forcefully put into his own personal hell, and having to relieve being JUST unable to destroy the Earth, when suddenly, he's gone. Cell immediately looked around, he was on an alien planet, before noticing the Dragon behind him say, "Fare thee well." And leaves into the balls, which scatter. Cell turns to see his resurrecters, and shock would be an understatement.

"Oh my, Gohan! What a surprise! You've gotten older! What seems to be the iss-" "Did you know my heritage?" Gohan asks bluntly. Cell's face displays blatant confusion. "Yes, DNA doesn't lie, didn't y-" "NO." Gohan spat out. Cell's entire thought process stopped. "Oh......OH......" He then smiles maliciously. "I see. You want revenge against your parents for keeping this a secret from you, so you've been recruiting the people with the most revenge to take on your parents. And since I have a high potential, you got me."

Gohan nods, "Zamasu recruited me into his glorious plan, all we need is to give you some.....upgrades." Cell's grin widens, as he nods enthusiastically. "You came to the right person. I have power, potential, AND I've even inherited a good singing voice." "Oh really?" Zamasu asks, before adding, "Prove it," creating a microphone and tossing it to Cell. Cell clears his throat and begins to sing.

Gohan and Videl fly back to Earth in their spaceship. "Do they have to leave?" Broly asks, earning a response of, "If we want to kill the Z-fighters, we must act with stealth," from Zamasu. Paragus nods from the sidelines, and then returns his attention to Granolah giving Cell some of his DNA. "I'm... unfamiliar with Cerelians." Cell notes, and Granolah passionately dives into the advantages of his species.

Zamasu looks on, proud of the powerhouses he gathered. "Well," He thinks, "That woman who came to me... it looks like she was right. Plan: Zero Mortals is going far more smoothly with gathering assistance from mortals with a distaste for their own kind. I must thank Towa when I see her next. Gohan, Broly, Granolah, and Cell are all going to be invaluable in the destruction of the mortals... especially that damned Gokua. Our revenge will be mighty!"

He begins to laugh to himself, the destruction of Son Gokua making him laugh to himself out of revenge. And now, her own son will be the one to deliver the finishing blow IN COLD BLOOD. Revenge IS best served cold after all. And this will be colder than ice

The Z fighters gather at Capsule Corp for Gohan's return. Goten and Trunks especially were very antsy waiting for Gohan to return. The ship lands on the ground, and almost as soon as Gohan steps out, Goten and Trunks dogpile their brother with a cry of, "GOHAN!" Videl wasn't fairing THAT better, being instantly swarmed by Hercule and Buu. "Hey Gohan, how was the trip?" Gokua asks as soon as Gohan gets up. "It was pretty excellent. We went to Planet Bas, Planet Zalt, and even Yardrat!" Gohan exclaims, and then adds on, "Although Videl was the one who picked up more abilities from the Yardrats, I managed to get a handle on Instant Transmission at least."

Kakarotta's eyes sparkle as she immediately hugs Gohan, "That's great! How was Pybara? And Ollai?" "They were in perfect health when we saw them, they're even considering parenthood." Gohan notes, to the joy of Gokua. Well, this is how to get away with their... activities in space, by simply avoiding those topics. They DID indeed go to Bas, Zalt, and Yardrat, among other planets, mainly as a cover for their actions.

And yes, Videl did learn a whole lot of Yardrat Techniques, including Instant Transmission, Gigantification, Cloning, and Healing, but Videl also kept something in her back pocket, Forced Spirit Fission. This way, not only will Videl pull her weight, but Vegito, Gotenks, and any other fusion would be a non issue. In fact, in the unlikely event Piccolo decided to turn on them, this way Kami and Nail would be split from him. It's a brilliant plan, but speaking of Piccolo, if Gohan's reading him right, the Namekian has a hunch that Gohan is elaborating Yardrat for a reason

Everything progressed mostly normal for a few months, Gohan and Videl keeping up their training, although Videl HAS slowed down recently. Now, for Bulma's 38th Birthday party, Gohan and Videl made sure to bring a gift for the genius, as Gohan does admit he owes his existence to Bulma's obsession with the dragon balls leading to her meeting young Gokua. The party was in full swing, although Gokua and Vegeta called in that they'll be late as they're training on King Kai's.

"Hey Gohan, how have you been?" Piccolo asks, heading over to them. "Oh, Piccolo, I've been fine!" Gohan says, slipping into his routine of practiced cheer. "You sure? Gohan, it's been less than a year since your mom came back to life and finally stopped being an idiot about your heritage. That must have been a shock." Piccolo cuts straight to the point, much of what Gohan expects from his mentor. He begins to speak but is interrupted.

"Greetings Earthlings." An unfamiliar voice calls out. Nappa took one look at him and immediately jumped back in fear. "L-L-L-LORD BEERUS!?" All the guests immediately looks at the man named Beerus, who responds with, "Who are you again?" The tall man in red speaks up, "He appears to be Nappa, former Grand Viser of King Vegeta." "OH!" Beerus says in recognition, "You survived! I honestly didn't expect that." Nappa nods quickly, before almost instantly grovelling beneath Beerus. Tarble also drops near instantly.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MI-" Raditz tries to yell, but Nappa counters with, "LORD BEERUS THE DESTROYER CAN DESTROY EARTH WITH A FINGER, OR A SINGLE KI ATTACK!" This brings literally everyone except for Gohan, Videl, and Piccolo onto their knees, Piccolo takes a step forwards Beerus, "Well then Lord Beerus, as the former guardian of this planet, I humbly ask what you want with Earth." "Nothing much, just... the Super Saiyan God." Beerus responds, before noticing the Buffet. "Ah, thank you for this food." He notes, before diving in.

"MMMMMMMM!" Beerus yelled, suddenly eating quickly, "WHIS! THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!" Whis, as he's called, takes a bite of food...... and also immediately starts digging in. "MMMMMHMMMM!" Nappa quickly pulls the entire group to the side, "So, how do we find a Super Saiyan God?" "Nail read something about a Super Saiyan God once, however I can't remember it. Since it's in the Namekian book of elders, let's ask Shenron." Piccolo notes, and Bulma quickly gets out the Dragon Balls. Shenron is summoned, which draws the attention of Beerus and Whis.

"Ah, perfect." Beerus comments, and Shenron does a straight up double take. "L-LORD BEERUS!? WHAT A.....HUMBLING SUPRISE! WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?!" "Shenron, how do we make a Super Saiyan God?"

"FIVE RIGHTEOUS SAIYANS POUR THEIR KI INTO ANOTHER." "Wait, but won't that just count as a gift of power?" Nappa asks, Gohan responding, "Then give me the power, I'm the strongest Saiyan who doesn't care about accepting handouts." The saiyans present count amongst themselves. Gohan, Goten, Raditz, Nappa, and Tarble all hold hands and focus their power into Gohan.... but that fails.

Tarble motions towards Trunks, saying, "Maybe we need one more, let's hope a Half-Saiyan works!" The six saiyans all hold hands in a ring, and pour their ki into Gohan. Gohan is enveloped in a blinding red light, and transforms into the Super Saiyan God. His hair and tail are red, while his eyes are also a burning red. Beerus looks upon this form and smiles. "Now, the fun begins"

Chapter Text

Gohan glows red with power, burning with a vibrant glow. "Well now, this is interesting!" Beerus comments, but soon after, Kakarotta and Vegeta instant-transmission next to Piccolo. "WHOA! GOHAN!" Gokua shouts, "So THAT'S why I couldn't lock onto your Ki! It's amazing!" "What power is this?" Vegeta asks, and Gohan moves to answer, but Beerus yells out, "ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT OR WHAT!?" Gohan immediately lunges towards Beerus and right-hooks him, knocking the G.O.D. through the boat. Beerus immediately retaliates, flying back near-instantly and rocketing himself and Gohan in the opposite direction.

The fight started as soon as Gohan was sent flying. The Destroyer and the Super Saiyan God clashed, each hit like a meteor as the battle of gods commences. Beerus was dominating the battle, but Gohan was getting in some good hits. They eventually talked during a small break in the fight where they both landed underground. "You're odd, a pure-blood Saiyan accepting a handout of power. Back in the day, I knew Saiyans that would rather die than take that handout. Why are you so lax about it?" The Cat asks, to which Gohan responds, "I wasn't raised like that."

"Please, do elaborate." Beerus asks, and Gohan responds, "My mother told me I was a half-saiyan until three years ago, when she finally revealed the truth." This sparked Beerus to raise an eyebrow, "And why, might you say, is that?" "I DON'T KNOW!?" Gohan roars as he flies in for a punch, Beerus dodging, as Gohan continues to rant. "They should've told me when my mom told me she got pregnant by Vegeta, but I thought Goten was the only instance! And now, all of a sudden, I'm supposed to just accept that my heritage was kept from me all of my life!? At least Videl, Piccolo, Hercule, and Buu actually saw how that was unfair!" Gohan's hair elongates for a split second, but not short enough for Beerus to miss it.

"And so, you developed a higher power?" The destroyer comments, with Gohan explaining, "Only Videl, and five others off the planet know of this form. I intended to keep it that way." Beerus growls, "Now YOU LISTEN HERE brat, if you do not demonstrate your full power, I will destroy the entire planet. Am I clear?" Gohan nods, "Just make sure no one, least of all my parents, see this form." Beerus nods as he and Gohan blast up into the stars.

Meanwhile, at the boat, the Z-fighters watched Gohan and Beerus fly up into space. "Whoa! I wanna see the battle!" Goten and Trunks yell out, Malana quietly nodding, however Whis states, "I'm afraid not, the fact that they've flown up there means they don't want anyone going to see them." The children sulk a little before staring up at the fading lights. Those lights, Gohan and Beerus, flew far enough away to be out of sight, as Gohan turns to face the destroyer god, not even realizing his God form had vanished. "Alright, here goes."

He powers up, the power of Beast enveloping him. "Whoa..." Beerus nods accordingly, "That's the power of a Kai if I've ever seen one. You got lucky, mortal." Gohan gets ready to fight, but powers back down to base as he passes out from a loss of Stamina. Beerus nods at Gohan, grabbing him and flying back to the Z-fighters base with the unconscious Gohan. "Before any of you ask, he passed out because of Stamina drain." Gokua nods as Videl and Piccolo rest Gohan upon a table. "So, did you find a worthy challenger Lord Beerus?" Whis asks. Beerus merely shakes his head, "No Whis, I found more. I found a potential successor."

Chapter Text

After Shenron was desummoned, Gohan begins his training on Beerus's planet. Videl moves there as well, giving birth to Pan in the process. And due to the secrecy of Lord Beerus's domain, Broly, Paragus, Cell, and Granolah had taken up shop there. Broly was too dangerous to train, his anger exploding every time he powered up, but he's working on it, while Cell and Granolah spar with each other to reach Gohan and Videl's. That was their system for about a year.

However, one day Gohan sensed a power that he hadn't sensed since he was a kid. "No way..." He says to himself, drawing the attention of Cell and Broly. The former senses the surrounding area, and instantly gets it. "Gohan?" Cell asks, and Gohan nods back, "Yeah I'm sensing that." The two of them place their fingers on their foreheads and teleport to the power signature, appearing next to a resurrected Frieza. THAT, wasn't on Gohan's bucket list.

"Alright, which one of you brought back the cum-stained lizard?" Gohan asks, causing Cell to double over in laughter. "And which one of the dirty monkeys are you?" Frieza, irritated beyond belief, responded snappily. "Gohan, the brat you fought on Namek over a decade ago." This clearly shocked Frieza, in severals ways. "Well well well, looks like you've grown strong. But I never forgot how badly I beat. you. to. a. PULP." Frieza emphasizes, jumping to his true form and powering up a Death Beam in the palm of his hand.

Gohan simply jumps to Super Saiyan God, as Cell laughs in the background while he gets up. "We've all surpassed you Frieza. Hell, even Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and even CHIAOTZU are stronger than you. But... you could still be of use." Frieza had stopped paying attention, being locked in a stunned silence as the implications of Gohan's words kicked in and the death beam falters. "Hey! No disrespect to Lord Fri-" Sorbet tries to start, but gets instantly killed by a Death Beam from Cell.

"No.....NO..... I AM NOT USELESS!" Frieza screams, powering up near instantly. Gohan, realizing what's happening, quickly teleports back to Broly as Frieza's temper tantrum starts to destroy the ship. The emperor, unaware of the damage he's causing, keeps ranting about how 'He's the emperor of the Frieza force,' and how, 'He's been conquering planets since he was four,' and a bunch of ways to self-validate that he isn't useless.

"LISTEN." Cell finally interrupts as the ship is fully destroyed, leaving the two of them floating in space. "I know it's hard for you to be surpassed, mainly because I'm part you, but you're too entrenched in your own trauma to even notice the deaths of YOUR OWN MEN." Frieza stops, and looks around to see that the two of them were in space. "You might be right..." The emperor shakily admits, being grabbed by Cell and teleported to Beerus's planet.
