Chapter Text

How the fuck did Vincent get dragged into this? No, he knows how actually. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Gordon trying to drunkenly woo two ladies he saw only to get a drink to the face and Barney recording it because he saw the reaction coming from a mile away. He was pretty much the whole reason Vincent was in this situation in the first place. He caught Stark earlier that day pretty much drowning in a pile of paperwork trying to make sure that everything looked right and decided to take him out to the club with him, because according to Gordon, Vincent should ‘be at the club’ and ‘loosen up every once in a while’. Yeah, because the bright lights, overcrowding, and loud ass music was a perfect stress reliever.

A slap on the back had made him jump and look behind him quickly, seeing Barney with a raised eyebrow. “Come on man, I bought you a beer and you haven't even touched it! What gives?” Barney had to yell over the music so he could be heard, but Stark just gave him a frown. “I told you not to buy me one. I'm not much of a drinker.” He frowned, making Barney inhale with a hiss and muttering a quiet ‘oh yeah’ like he had forgotten. Getting an idea he took the drink from Starks hand much to his confusion, “Hey, since you're not gonna drink you wanna be designated driver? Thanks!” And he ran off before Stark could say anything. Great. He is stuck here now until either Gordon and Barney want to leave or Stark forces them to leave. Just how he wanted to spend a work night.

Vincent was just watching the TV in the corner of the room now, despite not being able to hear it he still needed something to do other than sit around and hate every minute he's spent here so far. He had absolutely no clue where Gordon or Barney had fucked off too right now and honestly he didn't care much at the moment. He was zoned out for the most part until he had felt a hand on his shoulder. “Well hey there, you here by yourself?” A random woman had decided to strike up a conversation with Vincent, she seemed a bit tipsy though so he was going to try and make this brief. The question made him raise an eyebrow, since he's sure most people don't go to clubs by themselves. “Uh.. No, actually. Came with a couple of friends.” He told her, his eyes darting away from hers. “Don't know why they invited me if they were just going to fuck off to who knows where.” He complained, earning a giggle from the lady. Which he didn't know why since he didn't say anything funny. “Oh, I get that. But like… no girlfriend right? Cause my friend over there said you were pretty.” The woman had a grim as she pointed over to her very clearly drunk friend, who was covering her face but shaking in a way that made it clear she was laughing. Stark just frowned and shook his head, “That's nice and all, but I'm not interested.” The woman let out a dramatic sigh and went back to her friend. Leaving Vincent slightly confused about the whole ordeal.

As Vincent walked to the bathroom to hide out until he could leave someone else had bumped into him, he was about to say something to the guy before realizing that he was way way bigger than Stark was. “Watch where you're going.” He slurred out, Stark just let out a half-hearted apology and quickly made his way to the bathroom. Getting into a stall he locked the door and sat down, pulling out his phone he looked through his contacts to see if there's someone he could call and rant to but his options were severely limited. There were his parents, his uncle, Felix, and Ramirez. He had Barney and Gordon's number too but why call them when they're here?

He tried to call Ramirez first, hoping that with how late it was he wouldn't be working on whatever project he had been put on, the phone ran a few times before going to voicemail. Vincent sighed and hung up. He could call Felix but Felix is not the kind of guy he wanted to talk to in his given state. He felt like he'd genuinely get pissed off at the first dick joke he heard from Felix.

Looking around the stall, there were a few numbers scrawled on the walls with ‘call me for a good time <3’ notes attached. ‘Yeah, hell no.’ Stark thought to himself before noticing a hole in the wall. Blinking for a moment, he decided he had enough of hiding in the bathroom now and got up, heading out of the bathroom. In all honesty, he was going to find Gordon and Barney and drag them the hell home if he had to.

After dropping Barney off, Stark had driven to Gordon's house with the drunken directions he was being given. It was fairly quiet in the car minus Gordon's incessant talking and the odd direction here and there.

“C'mon, youu don't even have th radio on?” Gordon slurred, reaching to turn it on only for Vincent to smack his hand way. “I focus on the road better without it.” He said simply as Gordom huffed and crossed his arms. “Fucken bore.” Gordon grumbled under his breath before going back to his chatter.

“Honesly man, you were a wwway better choice to bring than Felix.” It was a weird compliment-ish, and Vincent darted his eyes to Gordon to get him to continue. “Felix would've gotten f-fucken drunk or jus ditch us, but I knew you wouldn't.” Yup, of course he was only brought along to be the designated driver.

“Yeah, I figured that's why you wanted me to come with you. Suddenly, two people you don't interact with all that much come up to you and invite you out? It was sort of obvious.” Gordon had flipped Stark off at that comment, sitting up a little straighter. “Oh fuck off.” Gordon rolled his eyes at him before gagging, opening the window up as fast as he could; he puked out the window as Stark drove, much to Vincent's dismay.

“I swear to god if puke got on my car I'm making you pay to get it cleaned.” Gordon huffed as he wiped his mouth off, spitting out some excess bile before sticking his head back in. “T-Turn here. Eddie's house is closser.” Gordon instructed. Vincent was going to ask who Eddie was but figured he was a friend of Gordon's so he just followed the directions and turned.
