   Summary

   During a battle, Magnus Bane somehow gets shoved into a portal he opened to help his loved ones retreat. But, instead of falling into limbo, he is thrown into the The Badlands, where he meets a skilled fighter named Sunny, who was trying to find his way back home to his loved one, Veil. With no magic and only a portal shard to hold onto, they venture in search of the portal to bring Magnus back home to his own dimension.

   Upon the sight of watching the man he loved fall into what they all presumed was limbo during a battle, Alec Lightwood finds a way to go after Magnus & rescue him.
