Chapter Text
Grief quickly turned to rage, as Dommie pushed one of Tex's arms aside ... and rushed at Willy!
"That was my friend, you *******!" Dommie yelled, as she vengefully kicked the big weasel in the unmentionables!
Willy grunted in some pain, but recovered quickly and snarled at the green-shirted woman.
Before he could act though ... all the girls of the gang (Sara, Cammy, and Willimeena) promptly launched themselves at Dommie with furious shrieks!
The big weasel managed to restrain Willimeena though ... by grabbing her by the chest, just as she jumped off his head.
As for Cammy and Sara ...
"No one hurts Willy!" Siren Sara hissed angrily, as she grabbed Dommie's head and arms.
"Die, ******!" Cammy Chameleon spat, as she grabbed the woman's legs ... at the same time.
With one tug by both animatronics, Dommie was swiftly 'dispatched' ... and dropped to the ground with Chip!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Dommie's body hit the ground, the killer animatronics' aggression instantly cooled ... turning back to their prior sinister calmness.
Sara and Cammy quickly stepped back into place with their fellow robots; smug, satisfied looks on all of their faces.
As for Willimeena, her fur was bottlebrushed again, eyes glowing green, and she was hissing unhappily as she struggled in her dad's tight grasp.
Willy, on the other hand; merely cooed at the angry weasel doll in his paws, and patted her softly until the hissing turned to purring.
Happy that Willimeena was calmer now, Willy placed her back on his head ... while keeping an eye on the humans before him.
Said humans, on the other hand ... were mostly baffled by what they'd just seen!
First ... the huge, infamous weasel openly threatened them and attacked aggressively ... and now he was acting like a 'mother hen'?
Only Tex knew why ... but he wasn't going to let himself blather anything that might upset the vicious robots!
That was the reason why the businessman was now physically holding his own mouth shut ... much to the amusement of Willy & Co.
Taking advantage of the now distracted humans, Arty and Ozzie quickly and carefully slid every gun they could see from their slackened grasps.
A simple precaution, but one thought up by the boss after that 'incident' involving Tito's arm.
"Now, as I was saying ... before the HELP interrupted ..." the big weasel said sarcastically, seemingly none the worse for what happened.
"Somehow, it doesn't feel seemly at all for an UPSTANDING Sheriff such as yourself ... to be in league with a bunch of beer-swilling, mud-brained, wannabe homewreckers!" Willy continued, with a contemptuous snort.
The insult and snark promptly jolted Tex, Lund, and Hobson out of their state of shock ... and the officers immediately went to aim at the robots!
Only to discover a teeny, tiny ... but blatantly obvious problem: their guns were now gone!
Lund whirled around in a panic to find the weapons; only to see them on a table, behind a VERY smug Arty and Ozzie.
Willy Weasel snickered as Lund grimaced, and then scowled angrily at the alligator and ostrich; who promptly high-fived each other!
"Yeah! I always thought that the cops were there to ENFORCE the law ... not link up with brigands to vandalise people's property?" Arty Alligator then quipped with a sneer on his face.
"Si, Señor Arty!" Tito Turtle joined in, while shaking his head disapprovingly at the trio. "So improper of them ..."
"So vulgar ..." Cammy Chameleon murmured, disdainfully.
"Especially that deputy over there!" Gus Gorilla growled, gesturing straight at Lund. "Crooked as the day is long, I wouldn't wonder!"
Deputy Lund flinched at this, looking both hurt and outraged by the accusation.
She suddenly felt a hand pat her on the back in a comforting manner, and turned to see Hobson give her a wink and reassuring smile.
"Not to worry, Sheriff!" Siren Sara drawled once again, drawing everyone's attention to her. "We took care of the problem for you!"
Dangerous, predatory grins appeared on all of the animatronics' faces ... as the humans' faces simultaneously filled with horror!
"Indeed!" Knighty Knight declared, confirming the latter's worst fears.
The knight robot then abruptly whipped his sword out, and around in a flourish ... causing both humans and the other robots to duck hastily!
"Those scurvy curs will never darken the doors of our kingdom again!"
Tex, Hobson, and Lund all bowed their heads in grief at the revelation ... especially the police officers!
The Sheriff and his deputy also felt shame and regret for having accidentally led the angry yet innocent mob of townsfolk to their deaths.
But to tell the truth, who on earth could have expected this?! It was like something out of a horror movie ... except it was real.
Horrifyingly, blood-curdlingly ... REAL.
Deputy Lund blinked, and then shook her head vigorously to chase the bad thoughts away!
This was no time for regrets! She had questions that needed to be answered!
Questions that had been rolling around in her head ever since this whole 'circus of chaos' had started!
"B-But ... what ... why are you ... HOW on earth are all of you alive in the first place?!" Lund spluttered, turning to fix her gaze on Willy himself.
"WHY are you doing this to Hayesville? To the families and kids who loved you?!"
It just didn't make sense to the female officer? Why would the lovable, friendly restaurant monsters change into vicious monsters ... seemingly overnight?!
The big weasel's evil grin swiftly turned to a contemptuous look ... and his crew all rolled their eyes, and groaned in exasperation.
"You know, guys ..." Willy said, in a VERY annoyed voice!
"I've always thought that the people around here were dimwitted country bumpkins who couldn't even find their own noses ... but somehow they always manage to surprise me!"
The animatronic leader suddenly took a couple of rapid steps forward ... catching everyone off guard!
Before anyone could react, Willy Weasel was looming over a now terrified Lund ... obviously relishing her apparent fear of him.
"Seriously though ... you can't guess?" Willy muttered, sounding frustrated. "Don't realise who I really am?! Oh, Eloise ..."
The big weasel's voice softened and lowered in pitch to sound almost 'kind' ... at least to the humans' ears.
Somehow this was even scarier to them than Willy's anger!
"Eloise, Eloise ... Deputy Eloise Lund", said weasel purred in a discomforting way.
"I'm beginning to wonder if gallivanting around with these hicks all this time has dulled your 'perfect' police instincts?"
Willy shook his head in mock sadness and sympathy, as the big weasel gestured around to the surrounding restaurant again.
"You seriously can't remember a specific case? Right here in this restaurant?" Willy hinted, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"A name? A face? A SMILE ..."
The animatronic weasel's face abruptly cracked into his old 'signature smile' ... one full of mischief, smugness ... and malice.
One that suddenly sparked a distant memory at the back of Deputy Lund's mind ...
