Chapter Text
Robins POV
I wake up after what felt like a long time sleeping. Just when I remembered I slept with Raven, my cheeks burn in embarrassment thinking about that. I hope no one thinks that we’re together… right? I only see Raven as a sister, not a lover.
I see that Raven has already gotten up, she probably just wanted me to rest even though I’m used to not getting enough sleep. It doesn’t matter as I walk to my room to get what I need to shower.
After getting out the shower, I put on my clothes and head to the common room. “Good morning Titans” I told my team. All I hear is giggles coming from Cyborg and Beast Boy.
“What’s so funny?” I ask to them, Raven just looks at me and sighs. “Why don’t you see yourself, Robin.” This makes me suspicious, what could’ve these two had done now I think to myself.
Raven shows me from her phone what those two fools were laughing. Me and Raven sleeping together. I felt my anger rise and was about to scream who took this photo when a soft voice behind me says “Oh sorry Robin, it was me who took the photo. I hope you’re not upset.” Starfire tells me.
My anger dissipates once she told me this. ‘Star probably didn’t have malicious intentions with this, it’s most likely she wanted to save this in the picture album I gave her for Christmas last year.’
“It’s okay Star, you can do nothing wrong in my eyes.”
Immediately, Cyborg and Beast Boy start laughing even harder. My face turns red like Star’s hair out of embarrassment. Raven smirks and the princess is pondering what is so funny.
This wasn’t how I wanted my morning to go, but I wouldn’t settle for less.
Star looks back at me, wanting to speak with me. “Robin could we talk with each other, if you aren’t busy” she asks. I nod my head and we walk out into the hallway leading to my room.
“So, what did you wanted to talk about?” I ask to the princess, my gaze never leaving her. “I wanted to ask… If I could talk to you what happened to me when you first saved me.” Well, that’s a shocker, Star never really talked about her time with the citadel. But when she did, her face grew pale and didn’t seem to want to recollect the memories surrounding it.
“You obviously know that I have two siblings, Komand’r and Ryand’r. Well when Komand’r betrayed us and Tamaran my father had to settle something in order to not prevent anymore death and destruction. So, he sold me to the citadel. It wasn’t like he had any other option. Komand’r was a traitor and Ryand’r was already sent away. So I as the middle child was taken away from my home and by then, my parents had fallen ill and it seemed like all hope was lost.”
Kory’s eyes started to water, she looks at me and says “I’m so glad I met you Richard, and the titans too.” She kisses me on the lips and I hug her. I push her back and wipe the tears off her face.
“I’m so glad I met you, Koriand’r. I love you so much and I’ll make sure that I’m always by your side.” We look at each other in the eyes. Emerald green looking back at whites.
She takes my mask off to reveal my crystal blue eyes that I hide. “I don’t get it, why continue to wear a mask when we know your identity.”
“It’s just like you all said, the mask makes me feel cool too.” We laugh it off and go back to the common room to eat breakfast. I start to think about my parents and Bruce.
Sure he may not be the best father, but I’m still glad I got him. I should call him later maybe when I have the chance.
Third POV
Few hours later in Wayne Manor, Bruce gets a call he didn’t expect to get, but the man answers. “Dick, it’s been a while since we’ve talked.” “I know Bruce, but I wanted another chance to talk to you and try to mend our relationship. Would you like to finally meet my team instead of spying on me kissing my girlfriend.”
Bruce was somewhat surprised that Dick had knew he spied on him. Perhaps it’s just a trait us bats share.
“Of course I would like to meet your team chum.” “Great, now let’s see when we can meet up.”
Father and son continued to chat till the man had to leave for patrol. Now Dear Robin had to tell him team it was time to visit somewhere else. Probably a little more damp and cold.
