OR: Every Link is the Avatar of his own time, and Sky is appalled to learn that Wild has been adventuring without the Avatar State. He needs to help the boy unlock it, before it's too late.
ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ First things first: GO SUPPORT TASHI AND DON'T BE A WEIRDO ABOUT IT EITHER. This work is actually on hiatus, as with most of this series, because people were being weird about these amazing stories(and I can't imagine why??? Like? Why? They're great!). SO PLEASE spread some positivity and support instead, Tashi needs it!!!
In other notes, I went into this one blind, too. I was kinda up in the air about if I'd like it or not(since AtLA crossovers are hit-or-miss for me) but HOLY CRAP this one is great. This is on par with the other amazing AtLA crossover that deserves my adoration, In His Element(s). 10/10 would recommend checking it out, it is SO high-quality too. The only other one I've read(so far) and liked is Forged in Fire and Blood, which is muuuuch heavier and darker, but still good. Still good.
With all that out of the way, I am 100% on Twilight's side and I will be salty if chapter 3 makes Twilight out to be wrong when he's not lol. Tashi isn't afraid of having tension and angst though and having Twilight being properly protective, so I'm not nervous at all really. I'm just so hyped and want Tashi to feel good enough about this beautiful story to update it(for me, at least? 👀)
SO please be supportive without being mean and DON'T ask "WhEn WiLL tHiS uPdAtE?" because that is bad vibes for authors. Got it? :D ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I like that Twilight plays along when Sky is getting his consensus. Poor Wild can relate to Legend and Four though, I'm aure, in some way, and I'm just glad they're not alone. Legend not vibing with the Avatar State makes a TON of character sense to me, and once again, I ADORE how Tashi writes Legend. Does him soooo much justice and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I headcanon that Legend sees Koholint when he exits the state and that really messes him up(I'm all for Traumatized Legend), though he has to suffer in silence, so he avoids it like the plague. Either/or/and in order to enter it he has to give up Koholint, which is obviously a suuuper hurtful thing for him. I just think that the Link's Adventure adventure would have affected Legend the most. To wake up and have it all just GONE??? Eeeshhdfldfm
Also if you need it pointed out, Time toootally avatar-state'd Majora's Mask(i.e. Fierce Diety) and that's why he doesn't comment further on it~
Like I said in the tags, I am not sure if Wild knew that he didn't need it/wouldn't enter it and was playing along to humor Sky(which is ultimately how I ended up reading the end of it) or if he just gives up quickly. I like to interpret it as the first because Twilight certainly would have provided Wild with SO MUCH positive reinforcement over their time together, even without telling Wild WHY he shouldn't enter it. Twilight would have given Wild the affirmation he needs to be confident in himself and his decisions and not waver under others' pressure(because others don't understand Wild like Wild and Twilight do, so their opinions don't apply to begin with)
