A shot of Camp Wawanakwa is shown as Total Drama Island host Chris McLean is shown; "Camp Wawanakwa on this good morning in northern Ontario... After 8 weeks; 24 campers are now down to 2 but who will be left standing to claim the check for 100 thousand dollars?" Chris asked to the camera. "Will it be the snowball American who has persevered through a bad break up to find love again on the island Lincoln?" Chris's voiceover asked as it showed Lincoln by a tree drawing on a notebook which showed him drawing Dawn running care free with deer with him hiding the notebook looking embarrassed when he realised that the cameras were there. "Or will it be the aura reading vegan friend of all animals who helped him find love again Dawn?" Chris's voiceover asked as it showed Dawn standing by the water on the beach petting a shark that came to see her. "Who will emerge victorious to claim the 100 grand? Will our adorable couple actually be able to compete with eachother? Will I get a call about if my pitch pilot for a Canadian version of Dr Who get picked up? Find out in the highly anticipated climax episode of Total Drama Island!" Chris told the camera as the show then showed the opening of the show.
The camera showed the outside of the cabins where Lincoln and Dawn were seated down laughing while playing with Edward the platypus. "We have both asked our lovebirds to record their finals thoughts before their final contest in the Confessional." Chris said making himself known to the camera.
In the confessional Lincoln was facing the camera; "what was my time here like?" Lincoln asked before signing and putting his hand to his cheek and his elbow to his leg. "Honestly... A mixed bag... Staying in the cabins with those beds and all the bugs and dirt... I lost count how many times I thought to myself that it seemed like the cabins were made for my sister Lana." Lincoln said before perking up. "But while the challenges were tough and some worse than others; I have had fun and I won't regret that I came here ever." Lincoln said.
In the confessional Dawn was smiling at the camera; "How would I describe my time here? Amazing! Being out here wih the nature on the island; spending time with all of those wonderful creatures and the challenges could be quite fun!" Dawn said with glee with her hands together before sighing. "Some were... Unpleasant though and I won't lie about the bad moments..." Dawn said cringing at the memories of the facing your fear challenges and the Brunch of Disgustingness which was by far her least favourite challenge.
"Serving all those ungrateful campers all these weeks... Thinking this is a 5 star restaurant in wanting less rat droppings... At least the white haired kid was appreciative and I never heard any complaints from the fat boy..." Chef Hatchet muttered.
"I am in the minority amongst the other campers but the food was bearable for me; not the worst and I got to enjoy my favourite sandwhich at the Brunch of Disgustingness though the rest wasn't exactly pleasant on that challenge." Lincoln said in the confessional.
"Didn't mind the food myself except for... Well... I hope never to be reminded of that Brunch again..." Dawn said and sighed at the end.
"I think I got on great with most of the people here; I soon found my own group of friends here and I may have had problems sure but I think we sorted them out or at least came to more of an understanding.." Lincoln said before sighing. "But if there is one person that is the lowest of the low who I would be a happy boy never having to meet again..." Lincoln muttered angrily.
"So many pleasant people with positive auras and some more misunderstood who I think that I have helped to be more true to themselves." Dawn said before glaring. "But if there is one person who I wouldn't spare a second thought if she got the worst humiliation imaginable... Dawn said her face showing a rare glare.
"Heather!" said both of them as there was a two way split between the clips so that their voices with sync up with eachother.
"I had to answer who my favourite person is?" said both of them with the clips synced up again as they were smiling with love in their eyes as they both said at the same time the other's name.
"What do I want to be remembered for? I would say more than just the 1 American but someone who overcame the odds against him to get this far and has been a good friend to help out the team and give you the truth you need!" Lincoln said thinking to himself on the question.
"What do I want to be remembered for? As Someone who is a friend to mother nature, it's animals and those seeking a friend to help them by reading their auras." Dawn said smiling in the confessional.
At the pit with the seats for the audience was where Lincoln and Dawn came to face eachother with Edward nearby. "So this is it... Our alliance is done and we are the final 2..." Lincoln said with a hint of sadness in his voice and Dawn had a sad look before she perked up.
"Glad that we could get this far together together. Let' let the best competitor win and not let the result come between us." Dawn said as they put their hands together and looked in their eyes. "Could I please give you a kiss for good luck?" Dawn asked and Lincoln grinned.
"Only if I could do the same to you!" Lincoln replied as they embraced eachother and they heard cheering as the 22 contestants came to get their seats in the crowd area where they made out an angry Heather.
"Get a room you two..." laughed Duncan as he sat himself between Duncan who was cheering the loudest and Courtney.
"I hope that our 3rd place contestant has no hard feelings?" Lincoln asked with a smirk to Duncan who grunted with his arms folded and Dawn just watched his reaction without reading the aura.
"I was doing fine until I got that dog food dare and I had to draw the line somewhere... Thanks a lot Cody..." Duncan ranted giving a look towards Cody who gulped fearfully as he was still recovering from his bear attack.
"Welcome to our power couple final 2." Chris said as he put their notice to a screen set up. "Since it's you 2 I thought that to mark the occasion that I show you something special. A little tribute put together online by Codyluver4life; the creator and admin of the "Dawncoln is best TD ship" blog." Chris said as Lincoln and Dawn were open mouthed.
"A blog shipping me and Dawn together... I know people can ship contestants on a reality TV but it always feels weird to be shipping real life people like that..." Lincoln said in the confessional.
"...On one hand a part of me feels flattered but the other part has heard of how intense shipping wars can get with characters so..." Dawn ended up admitting.
"Like we said we are showing your video and giving your blog a plug so can you please cool it with the fan messages... I mean seriously Codyluver4life! No one likes an overeager fan; believe me... That restraining order that Bret Hart still has quite a few years on it..." Chris said in the confessional irritated.
The video played and it showed clips of them together starting with their first meeting and all their moments together put together along with fanart which surprised the couple. It was all set to At the Beginning by Donna Lewis & Richard Marx and it ended with them kissing for the first time with the crowd bar one cheering for them.
"Looks really good... thanks..." Lincoln said and Dawn nodded but could feel the squeal of the fan in question who put it together in their hearts.
"Now here is what I want you to do... Show your dancing skills with a little dance off!" Chris said pointing to Chef Hatchet at a boombox which Lincoln and Dawn surprised that THIS of all things would be the final challenge.
(I've Had) The Time of My life by Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes started playing and Lincoln and Dawn looked nervous but the looks from most of their fellow campers were encouraging them and then they started to dance together and started to really get into it as the music picked up. The campers were cheering and clapping (bar Heather refusing to look their way) and then the song turned to Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon with the couple easily adapting to the song change. Then the final song change was Footloose by Kenny Loggins which was the oddest choice but they were able to adapt well and posed at the end with the audience clapping.
The couples that got together smiled at them and eachother; "I wish I had someone to dance like that with; Dawn was lucky to get a guy to sacrifice himself without a second thought to save the girl from an escaped killer!" Izzy ranted with her arms folded looking at a sheepish Owen with it clear that she was still upset with him for the killer challenge.
"Thanks for that and allow me to explain what the final challenge is; if you recall I said that I wanted you both to dance so it wasn't me telling you it was a challenge!" Chris said with a grin as Lincoln and Dawn facepalmed but smiled as they did enjoy it. "Yep since you two were so popular; I wanted to make sure that your fans didn't get too scared about this final challenge ruining things. Plus to make sure that they are still tuned in!" Chris said as there were shakes of the head at this.
"Now here is the deal with this finale: this is in actuality a best out of 3 of 5 challenges! Each challenge win is a score for you and first to 3 wins; in the event of a tie at the end we will be looking to your 22 ex-campers who will be voting for who they want to win it all!" Chris explained and this was simple enough for them to understand.
"Now this sounds like a final challenge." remarked Gwen happy for them both to make it to the finals genuinely and just sat back to enjoy the show.
