Summary
Diego, Allison, and Klaus are in the living room listening to Five talk aloud to seemingly no one in the next room.
Diego is worried, Allison thinks it's cute, Klaus is somewhat confused
(Five's isolation and growing up in the apocalypse left him with a lot of habits that might seem odd to his siblings, and he didn't lose them just because he's back now - it's not like the commission exactly had good mental health services)

Summary
Klaus is pretty sure that the shopping had just been done, so why are there no snacks in the house?
Klaus decides his siblings must be hiding all the goodies in their rooms and goes with Ben to investigate - and it actually turns out to be true to their collective surprise. Five has been hiding food away up in his room. Like, a lot of food.
Well, the apocalypse doesn't exactly come with food security after all.

Summary
Five has a habit of sleeping pretty much anywhere except seemingly a bed.
Allison draws the line after finding him on top of the chandelier (it's dangerous, he could fall off!) and they have a family intervention for something Five didn't realize could be a problem in the first place.
(Five could find beds occasionally in the apocalypse, clear the rubble off of them to curl up - but it was much easier to just tag any vaguely horizontal surface that was mostly clear of debris as a sleeping area and be done with it. The rest of the family doesn't really approve.)

Summary
Five writes on the walls. Five writes on the cabinets. If it's a somewhat flat surface, Five will try and write on it. In an apocalypse, the whole world is your canvas as long as you have some charcoal in your hands.
However, back in civilization, people aren't as fond of casual vandalism.
Allison tries to talk to Five about it, but the talk goes sideways and feelings are hurt on both sides.

Summary
Klaus has noticed that Five has nightmares when he sleeps, but Five would rather chew off his own foot than accept comfort from his family. Allison has a lot of books on parenting, some of which have chapters dealing with your child and nightmares.
These facts combine into Klaus attempting to buy Five a comfort object since he doesn't want to show weakness in front of the rest of them.
Surprisingly, it works out just fine.

Summary
Five trips and scrapes his knees, which Allison declares as a sign that the schoolboy shorts have seriously got to go and that she's taking him shopping. Honestly, this shopping trip was a long time coming anyway and everyone is surprised Allison held out this long.
Then Klaus wants to go, and Diego could use a new knife, and Vanya has been meaning to grab some more socks for weeks and - yeah, it turns into a family trip to the mall for clothes.
Five is lost at all the choices available to him, Klaus tosses clothes like they're playing dodgeball, Vanya loyally mans the shopping cart, and somehow none of them get banned from the store.

Summary
Klaus realizes that there are night Five comes into each of his siblings rooms and checks their pulses while they sleep, and comes to a realization about how exactly Luther knew they'd all died fighting the apocalypse in that very first future.
He isn't quite sure what to do with this information until he ends up waking up from his own nightmare while Five is actually in the room. They end up awkwardly comforting one another the best way they know how, and Ben is very proud of them both. Nightmares can really suck, but having someone there for you can really help.

Summary
Luther and Five were having an argument in the living room. Five moves as if he's going to jump. Luther reaches out to stop him. And Five, Five flinches. A learned response, an old response, something automatic he learned from thirteen years of living with Reginald Hargreeves, asshole extraordinaire.
Some of the family learns new things about their dad, some already knew, and all of them need therapy to be honest.

Summary
Snow and ash falling from the sky look so similar, don't you think?
Or at least, they do to Five's brain, which generously decides that now is a good time to summon up the apocalypse around him again. Luckily enough, his brother comes out to find him. Blankets comfort ensue.

Summary
Klaus is trying his hand at being a culinary genius. Five is watching the chaos unfold. Luther was only dragged into this to make sure the kitchen wouldn't burn down, because god knows Five would just watch it burn with delight.
Then chaos happens, the cookies turn out to be - interesting to say the least. Five seemingly has an iron stomach, and the siblings learn that he'll eat just about anything.
Vanya has to be the voice of reason in the end of things.

Summary
One of Vanya's students gives her the flu. And then, in turn, Vanya manages to pass it onto the rest of the family except for Klaus, who actually got a flu shot this year.
They thought Five had escaped the health hazard in the house, right up until Vanya decided to try her hand at making the family some good old fashioned chicken noodle soup and found half the ingredients missing. Klaus, suggesting a relapse of Five's food hoarding habits, ventures upstairs with Vanya only to discover their smallest sibling was hiding something a bit bigger than food in his room.
Where Five forgets that medicine is a thing that exists and goes about being sick in his own 'I lived in an apocalypse' sort of way, while Vanya and Klaus have to deal with it.
