It’s been eight years since Fox was decanted. Eight years of fragments of future-memories invading his dreams, eight years of surviving the Haran of Kamino, eight years of exploring the shadows. Not that he actually understood any of what was happening, having started piecing together the collection of fractured memories in his head only a little over a year ago, but for eight years Fox has known—the same way he knows Coruscant, the same way he’s always known his name—that there’s work for him to do.
