Summary
Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng have always loved each other, but their cults do not bless their relationship. Forced to marry other people in order to fulfill their duties, they live a life of frustration and dissatisfaction. At a meeting of the cults, their forbidden bond resurfaces with unstoppable force, bringing them into an inevitable confrontation with their love.
If this love is not blessed in this lifetime, perhaps in another lifetime their love will be blessed.
But not this lifetime.

Summary
After the death of his beloved sister Jiang Yanli, Jiang Cheng embarks on a career as a food critic, unconsciously trying to find in the dishes he tastes that flavor that only she could give. His severity and fame spread quickly throughout China, making him a respected and feared figure in haute cuisine. But despite his reputation, Jiang Cheng is never satisfied: every dish he reviews seems to lack that special ingredient that his sister infused into her meals, a quality he can never replicate. "Can a dish bring back what has been lost?" this search pushes him further and further away from the home he once knew.
Lan Xichen, a talented chef and owner of a Michelin-starred restaurant in Suzhou, is renowned for his elegant, minimalist cuisine, transforming traditional Chinese flavors into modern works of art. Despite success and fame, Lan Xichen asks himself: "How much of ourselves can we put on a plate to make ourselves understood?". His cuisine is an expression of himself, but it doesn't always find the recognition he seeks, especially from critics like Jiang Cheng.
Their meeting becomes a mutual challenge, where each tries to answer the other question: can a dish truly express what it carries inside?

Summary
When apparent calm follows the stormy events at Guanyin Temple, the Lan clan is still reeling. Lan Xichen, overwhelmed by the weight of the recent tragedy, withdraws into his isolation, trying to find some peace in the silence of his solitude. Meanwhile, Lan Qiren takes over the reins of trade negotiations with the other sects, deciding to respond to each clan's letters directly, taking on the responsibility of holding the diplomatic strings. The first on the list is Jiang Cheng.
The letters between Lan Qiren and Jiang Cheng, initially focused on business issues, gradually begin to reveal more personal reflections and hidden truths. One day, Nie Mingjue suggests that Lan Xichen might benefit from a change of scenery, proposing Yunmeng as the destination. Lan Xichen, however, goes further and decides that it wouldn't be a bad idea to invite Wei Wuxian too. This proposal raises doubts and perplexities, and Lan Qiren finds himself involved in this new dynamic, with all its possible developments...One question arises spontaneously now...
If words have been destructive, can words reconstruct?

Summary
For years, Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng have lived a love made of silent escapes, anonymous rooms, stolen kisses in deserted corridors. No one knows: not Lan Wangji, not Wei Wuxian, not even Jin Ling. It is a fragile and ferocious thing, alive only when the world is not looking.
After the Guanyin Temple, with Jin Guangyao dead and the weight of war on his shoulders, Lan Xichen does not retreat into isolation. On the contrary, he gets closer and closer to Jiang Cheng, tightening the threads of that clandestine relationship.
But the years of secrets, forced pauses, and half-hearted silences are beginning to take their toll. And so, even though the world has chosen not to look, Jiang Cheng chooses to look on a full moon night.
