The notion of Super Sentai began in 1975, with Himitsu Sentai Gorenger. It wasn't called Super Sentai, once upon fifty years ago. There wasn't a point in naming a large group when there wasn't a large group. No one thought that they would be a repeat occurrence.
Kaijou Tsuyoshi had the pleasure of bearing witness to the evolution of Super Sentai. He watched as they went from no name, to Sentai, to Super Century All Sentai, and finally settled on a longer lasting name - Super Sentai itself.
Super Sentai was made up of hundreds of individuals who set aside their lives to protect the green Earth.
But who looked out for them?
Tsuyoshi did his best. He wanted to guarantee some form of protection for them, too. So he proposed what would become The Super Sentai Act - a document that enshrined the rights of transforming heroes.
