Summary
In an Age of Fire that would've been lost to time, the Undead Curse spreads through the lands of Caerdiaeth early, and four kingdoms rise. The Four Lords, with their god-forged blades, wage an endless war, while those afflicted by the Curse are treated as disposable pawns at best, and cattle to slaughter at worst.
A stranger from a distant land appears, seeking a weapon to end this stalemate - a fifth, 'empty' sword, one instrumental in the forming of the four kingdoms, and then buried by history. And another, nameless, Undead, is set free, to fulfil a supposed prophecy and claim the weapons of the four Lords.
The course of history is just a little crooked. But, perhaps, sometimes things must be set a little wrong, before they can be set right again.

“It totally would’ve made more sense to steal the car,” Kai mumbles to himself as he leaves the dazed man against a tree. See, this is why Kai normally leaves the plan-making to Kei. Kei having run away in the night is seriously messing a lot of things up.
