Summary
"In retrospect, the war that would tear Hyrule apart had been inevitable long before matters of succession became involved; the state that King Rhoam built was unlikely to last."
Hyrule is thrown into a succession crisis with the death of the late King Rhoam. The unified kingdom he forged is torn apart by the division between his children: Princess Zelda and her younger brother, Crown Prince Norros. The Yiga Clan has continued to cause problems as its ambition only grows, whilst the Rito revolt under the rule of a warrior with a burning resentment towards the Royal Family. As Hyrule collapses into civil war, a new threat makes itself known in the far north...
