Summary

In RiverClan, a she-cat named Frostpaw chooses to follow the path of a medicine cat, being gifted with the skills of talking to StarClan. Her mother, Curlfeather, is by her side every step of the way and couldn't be prouder of her daughter. Little do the two of them know that Frostpaw's powers will soon become her curse.
In ThunderClan, Flamepaw deals with every eye on him. His mother, Sparkpelt, is determined to make him into a fine warrior like her deceased mate. Flamepaw knows she hates to look at him, and all he is to her is either a copy of his father or a copy of Firestar. He's determined to change that for good, even if it means driving away everyone around him.
In ShadowClan, a newly made warrior named Sunbeam prepares to tell his best friend how he truly feels, knowing it will solidify his shaky place in the Clan.

Summary
Riverclan warrior Tawnythroat is no exception to the list of cats who are unbothered by the changes in the code. She personally believes that cats can do what they want and she won't stop them, until a certain cat from Shadowclan makes the changes in the code more important to her than ever.
Pouncestep has fallen in love after a chance glimpse on a cool gathering night. Pouncestep believes that her big thing to rival her siblings will be a cross clan relationship, but when some of her closest friends begin to fiercely oppose the new code, she feels torn between her feelings and her friendships in a battle she never wanted to fight.
Two sides of the same coin are forced to figure out their problems as their world changes fast. With no cat, not even their families, completely sure what will come with a changed code, both fear for what this unexpected friendship may truly be.

The responsibility put on Frostpaw from such a young age -the importance that has been placed on her dreams and predictions- has caused her to live with an unmanageable amount of worry as she blames herself for things outside her control and attempts to control her own feelings. This blizzard of emotional turmoil gets to the point that even her littermates are struggling to help Frostpaw.
