Summary
Cory Padilla is the average 14 year old. She is starting 9th grade, she likes to sketch and doodle, and she lives with her mom and aunt in Queens, New York.
One fateful day, she gets bit by a weird jumping spider. And from that she gains spider powers.
After a major loss, Cory decides to use her new superpowers for good! Fighting bad guys, protecting the little guys. That’s how she took the mantel: VIOLETSPIDER.
Now she must balance her superhero life, her high schooler life, her relationships, and her mental health. But of course, when you’re a spidey variant, it is only a matter of time before one of those needs to be sacrificed.
Could Cory be the one superhero to get a happy ending? Or does VioletSpider have to sacrifice her life for the greater good?
