It seems to her he suppresses a smile, but he turns his head away quickly, perhaps for fear of being accused of joking over a rather serious subject.
“I don’t think so,” he says.
“I didn’t think so either.”

As she witnesses Adar’s betrayal and attempted murder at the hands of his “children”, Galadriel chooses to charge like a colt in full gallop rather than watch helplessly. A hasty pact is formed between two people who share little more than past trauma and a common foe – or do they? -
