Summary
Two weeks after the 2nd Great Turf War, the Octarian Army seized control of Inkopolis, now Octopolis, seemingly out of nowhere. The Inklings and few surface Octolings were taken by complete surprise and stood little chance of success. As such, most were either killed or captured.
