"Hey Luce; can't sleep?" He grins a bit, standing up and walking to the now boiling kettle, "Yeah" I respond. "Thought I might come down for some tea, and apparently someone else had the same idea." He opens the cupboards with the mugs in it and grabs two, taking both our favorite ones. "Yep," he replies. "Had some...bad memories come back to haunt me, ha-ha. So I decided to have some tea to clear my mind." He puts the tea bags in the mugs and pours the kettle with the water in each cup, spilling some water onto the counter.
"Do you still like milk and sugar in your tea, Luce?" Lockwood asked, while going the direction of the fridge. "Erm-yes, yeah, both please." I watch as he gets the milk, puts it on the table, then grabs the bowl of sugar, and does the same. We both sit down at the table, mugs in hand. I put my down too add sugar and a hint of milk, while Lockwood lightly blows on the hot liquid.
