Summary
I had a crazy idea to write a story in which Bucky Barnes somehow falls through a portal (or maybe just hits his head) and finds himself.... in Middle-Earth. You read that correctly. About the Middle of the Third Age, to be precise.
Is it a dream, or is he really here, encountering Elves, Dwarves and some very strange Men - as well as an Orc or two and maybe even Gandalf at some point? I have not made up my mind up, but I hope to have fun with a modern superhuman lost in a very strange world, full of creatures just as powerful as him.
I don't know how this will turn out, or how people will like it, but here's my first chapter.
The author is European, hence the spelling and forgive me if I get any details about the American landscape wrong.

Summary
For five hundred years, Rínior and Maedeth, the last descendants of Fëanor through his son Caranthir, have aided Arthedain in its war against Angmar.
Rínior protects the southern border as the famed Hero of the North. He will do anything to protect his wife and young daughter, but five hundred years is a long time to be surrounded by death and destruction. Despair nips at his heels. Elrohir cautions him to look for light amidst the endless darkness.
Maedeth serves the kings as a councilwoman and trusted emissary. She worries for her brother’s safety while sitting at home in a dying kingdom, but after five hundred years she is given a mission which she cannot afford to fail. Elladan refuses to leave her side, guarding her on her journey.
But the doom of Mandos is not far behind. With Celebrimbor dead, only the twins remain of Fëanor’s line. And perhaps in the twilight of Arthedain, the words spoken after the first kinslaying will finally come to fruition: “For blood ye shall render blood, and beyond Aman ye shall dwell in Death's shadow.”

Summary
As one of the last surviving soldiers of Arthedain, Liv travels south after the fall of her kingdom at the hands of the Witch-King of Angmar. Having lost everything, grief and shame weigh heavily on her. Nothing remains except for the self-imposed, desperate quest of trying to find her sister who had been sent to Gondor in search of help before her. The road ahead of her is treacherous, no less so than the horrors that lay behind her. While fighting for her life in an ambush by orcs, Liv encounters an elven maiden in the woods, and finds herself in her care soon after. As they learn more about each other, it soon becomes apparent that a shadow had been cast over Lady Helen’s immortal existence, burdening her in a similar manner. Their meeting remains no chance encounter. It seems their lives are destined to intertwine on a road that would take them far away from their respective homes.

Summary
“I come with a gift for the Lady of the Wood.”
“May I see this thing?” The elf asked. Tom shook his head.
“If it were jewels or coin I’d entrust it to you. But this I will show to the Lady and none other.”
The year is 1999, Third Age. The last Numenorean kingdom in Arnor has fallen. The Nazgûl are re-established in Barad-dûr, preparing to assault Minas Ithil. In Lothlórien Amroth is gone, Celeborn and Galadriel now rule as Lord and Lady, defying the Necromancer in Mirkwood. One day Gandalf and Radagast discuss the world and its woes in front of a mortal boy, 14 year old Tom.
“This young fellow asked me of Varda,” said the brown wizard, “and when he learnt that she may not be reached by land or sea he asked who is the greatest lady within the circles of the world. Galadriel, I told him.”
This story adopts an alternative history of Middle Earth, diverging from the canon a thousand years before the events in The Lord of the Rings.

Summary
Beings of Shadow move about in the darkness of night unseen, and shade falls upon the kingdoms of men early in the Third Age. In the North, the Witch-King of Angmar reigns over the remains of Fornost Erain, and in the South, Gondor is overrun by evil folk from the East.
In the midst of the brewing war between everything good and evil in that world, Haruno Sakura wanders as a mercenary to many, but a few know of her identity as an exceptional assassin – such is her trade. Hired for a quest of revenge, she relishes in the freedom of wearing the last remnant she has of the world she was born on and discarding the values she once clung onto for so very long. Or she thinks she does, at the very least.
For she knows both shadow and light, and while the darkness of anonymity is comforting, there are duties she has to face, and healing she needs to find – but both of which require her to figure out exactly what she wishes for her future, and that which she has become, and neither are questions so easily answered.

Meet my evil Elrond: cruel, self-centered, arrogant, greedy, jealous. He acquires a Palantír, and puts it to worse use than Denethor and Saruman together. Arwen he guards more jealously than Thingol ever guarded Lúthien. In him the worst sides of man and elf are combined.

Summary
Long before Aragorn, there was another son of both royal lines who wandered the Wilds of Eriador. Prince Aranarth of Arthedain has lost his mother, father, brother, and city. He survived the Witch-King's attack, and returned to defeat Angmar outside of Fornost with Gondor's help, but at what price? What befell the exiles of Numenor as they abandoned their city for camps in the wilderness? How did they become so feared in their own land?
This is a series of adventures and snapshots of the life of Aranarth, Heir of Isildur, and first Chieftain of the North. Featuring: soldiers learning how to become Rangers, elves teaching men, dwarves becoming neighbors, hobbits being hobbits, Bree-landers being oblivious, wights, orcs, and beasts attacking, Gandalf playing with fire, and the Dunedain of the North adjusting to their new lives.
