Summary
Bilbo Baggins wasn't the only member of the company Gandalf chose as he picked one more: an elleth named Húniel who has more skeletons in her closet than some might think at first glance. The dwarves aren't very happy about this development, but reluctantly agree to let her join for at least the beginning of their quest.
Traveling all across Middle-Earth and slowly growing closer to her new companions despite the animosity between elves and dwarves, Húniel will need to use all of her skills to keep them all safe in a slowly darkening world. She will happily face any foe that comes on their path, but soon finds something she would much rather flee from:

Summary
When Elladan and Elrohir accidentally come across an orc encampment in the forest, they realise after a battle that they are not the only elves in it. In the grass, not far from it, they notice wounded twin elflings. As they take them to Rivendell, life and death begin to depend on Elladan's medical skills. Elrond's son, desperately trying to save the children, does not yet expect that one of them will have a significant impact on his own fate.

Summary
Maedhros and the twins’ tutor Arandil have both given them the same lesson, when it comes to warriors and their weapons. This does not please Arandil. Galadriel, however, is unsurprised. Celeborn, fortunately, arrived on the scene too late to hear the part about Maedhros, and just wishes that Elros would mind his language. Arandil has more realistic expectations for Elros (which is probably for the best).

Elrond Peredhel is a hero of three great wars and the leader of Imladris. Sometimes people forget that, of all his titles, the first one Elrond earned was ‘healer.’
Now there is an outbreak of plague in the human villages along the River Celebrant. Elves cannot catch the plague; but part-elves can. Still, Elrond is a healer first.
Sometimes, people forget that, even the people who know Elrond best.
Glorfindel is doing his best to be a good friend, Captain of the Guard, and bodyguard to the grieving Elrond, but he's definitely taken by surprise, this time.
Ereinion Gil-Galad, who had nursed his peredhel cousin and heir through two different plagues, would not have forgotten. But he died in the final battle of the War of the Last Alliance.

New Chapters Summary: Nallos didn't invite teenaged elfling Theli to go with him to Amon Lanc in the late Second Age. It was more like, elfling Theli shanghaied Nallos as a tour guide. Meanwhile, in the Fourth Age, Legolas ponders the impact of his friend having chosen to marry a mortal woman.

Summary
Some time in the Seventh Age, Arda is a country in the center of Europe. With its unique people and races some consider to be alternate species of humankind, it is a place where elves are reborn without memories of their lives in the Undying Lands. Those who would have gone insane in the Blessed Realm now live fulfilling lives in these modern times, and act a little differently due to the absence of certain memories (they shape who you are!).
Also in Arda are Fae, seen by the world as curious little fairy things that shouldn't really exist. These are the Elves who never went West. Suspension of disbelief required. :D
