He knows it’s because he wants to be anywhere but here, made worse by the fact that he can’t, shouldn’t, won’t, leave. And because of the company he has to keep for this quest. Because said company is busy exchanging glares: Jason because he’s angry for Nico, and Percy… who knows? Who knows why Percy does anything? Not Nico. Nico doesn’t really want to think about Percy.
