Aurora Danvers is an Ipswich sweetheart. The twin of Caleb Danvers, she's essentially a Daughter of Ipswich. Having grown up with the Sons of Ipswich since birth, she's not unfamiliar with sneaking off to pull crazy stunts, albeit hers lacked the magic that the boys possessed. When Chase Collins arrives at Spenser Academy and vies for the Sons' trust, he grows closer to Aurora—mostly to gain the trust of Caleb Danvers, the eldest Son of Ipswich who shall ascend in a month. Chase has one mission: get Caleb Danvers to will him his power, by choice or by force. But when Chase finds himself truly, deeply enjoying the company of Aurora and the Sons, his plan is jeopardized. He's forced to decide between the two things he yearns for most: power and community.
