Summary
The break of dawn always comes like a breath of fresh air. Cool at first, like the dampness of the dew that rests on blades of grass; but the warmth of the rising sun quickly permeates what sat dormant overnight, bringing it to life. The golden glow of the sun that peeks over the horizon blazes light years away, but it somehow comes from within.
That’s what it feels like. The same cycle. It happens over and over again, yet the awe never eludes them. Every time that fire burns within them, it’s a new beginning, a new opportunity.
After regenerating, the Doctor finds themselves being given a second chance with the last person they left behind.

Summary
“Rogue, honey. I found you.” The Doctor dropped to their knees in front of Rogue as if they were praying at an altar. When Rogue’s eyes opened, tears formed in them that made them shine like the hottest of stars.
“Are you really here this time?” he could only manage a raspy whisper, but the implication could’ve shattered the Doctor’s hearts. Tears ran down his face, following a pattern that was already long since created in the dust.
“Oh, Rogue… Yes, I’m really here. I can get you to safety.” The Doctor cupped his face with their hand and wiped away a tear. “I promise.”

Summary
When she starts to hallucinate flashes of Rose during her prison sentence, the Doctor knows that something's wrong; her brain is just desperate for a way to cope with all the trauma she's endured. So she tries to ignore it. But once she's free and Rose appears, solid and touchable and claiming she's immortal and can spend the rest of time with her, the Doctor can't help but let herself pretend and experience the relationship she's wanted more than anything but could never have.

Summary
Nothing about Frankie seems to be quite right. Even her facial expressions are off, forcing her to hide behind a mask for the comfort of others. Still, no matter how much her teachers correct and guide her toward being normal, she fears she’s a lost cause, unable to fully decern between what behavior is right, and what will lead others to having “strange thoughts” about her.
One fateful day, Frankie becomes overstimulated while taking a test, and when all attempts to regulate herself are rejected by her behavioral instructor, she has a very loud and disruptive breakdown in front of everyone. After being removed from class and taken outside to cry it out alone, a blue box appears out of nowhere, along with a strange woman who calls herself the Doctor, who has her own ideas on what counts as "normal." -

A breeze passed through him, bringing him back to his cold sopping wet present and he grimaced at his own lack of foresight. Not exactly a new phenomenon but at the current moment it was a character trait he was not very fond of.
There were a lot of character traits that landed him here that he was not very fond of.
The sensation of something thumping against his knee however brought him out of that rabbit hole before it could start.
“Well, hello,” the Doctor said, unable to mask his surprise. “You’re rather friendly, aren’t you?”
