James Potter dreamed of the stars and the unknown and an unhealthy fixation on all things magical. He never indulged his interest in the fantastical to his friends, so imagine his surprise when his best friend's younger brother done real, actual magic in front of him. He takes it upon himself to help Regulus come back to his own realm while trying to do magic himself, but what happens when he realises he doesn't want Regulus to go back at all?
