Summary
A teenage boy is running from the law. A large bounty is over his head, and four Hunters are constantly chasing him, determined to get the money. It all changes when Dream gets wings.
Now everything that he knew about life is upside down and twisted. As he is a magpie, his “bird-brain” takes over when he sees anything shiny, and he immediately wants it. It also pops up during great emotion, scattering his usual calm and cold reactions. His wings are tiny, not yet full grown, like they should have been because most avians are born with their wings.
He doesn’t know who he is, or what to call himself, and he no longer feels safe with the sudden new dangers around him, especially with his fresh wings to take care of. And now he is forced to play in a harsh competition of something like Minecraft where he has enemies from day one. At least he has Techno, his partner, who is only three years older than him, but he can’t help but feel like the pink-winged avian could be a father. At least, until he realizes why that person wanted to protect him. And then he feels betrayed.

He backed away as Purpled pushed it open and climbed inside. He had two tubs of ice cream in his arms and pushed one over to him, along with a spoon.

“Tommy…” Punz’ voice had turned scolding.
“Cain Instinct.” Tommy stuck his tongue out at Purpled, who shrieked in anger.

Summary
Punz… wasn’t sure how he acquired four kids.
Well, that was a lie. He knew exactly how he acquired four kids. He showed a little human decency to a hurt and starving vigilante. He showed basic human decency… to a kid. And suddenly he brought his friends, whom he called his family, and asked if he had any extra food to spare.
Punz refused to let them leave after that.
Punz loved his kids, he did. He really really did. But when he gets calls from the school, or the police station, about four teens that were causing trouble? Prime was really testing his patience as he walked into the school building, patrol cut short, with a frown on his face.

“You’re in my den.” That made Purpled falter as he reassessed his first thought about the man. He let out a small purr, a coo following it and Tommy sighed as he let his head fall against the other’s shoulder blade.

“When I said we should do something I didn’t mean this!” Ranboo screeched like a cat as he spun around in the teacup ride of the amusement park that Tubbo found and somehow got a legal license to turn into a fun house. Tommy will never understand that.
“Well you said we should do something, this is something.” Tubbo cackled as Purpled looked mildly green from beside Tommy. A small question pushed from Tommy’s side and Purpled pushed back only reassurances.
The twins did not ride the teacup, but they did ride a rollercoaster.

Purpled has always been treated as a glass child, not only by his adopted family but everyone who met him simply because he was the last of his species. In an attempt to try and prove he wasn't as breakable as people made him out to be, Purpled went to kill a dragon to prove his strength. However, it did not go as planned.
