Summary
“What's your name?” - Yushiro asked, stripping off the layers of armor and padding.
It's not exactly the first time Yushiro had met, what he suspected, reincarnations of various slayers when they came to him for treatment, in the early years after that war ended. They had nothing clear, just flashes of blood and the glint of a sword. They also tend to stare at birds, thinking if they look hard enough, they'll talk.
Most of the cases outside of his clinic that Yushiro knew were second-hand hearings from Kiriya, and it's always, always some lower ranked soldier with a vague sense of understanding of the past.

Looks like Kochou was the first. Like how she was the first of firsts, as the only demon slayer in history to have not decapitated a single demon.
As the only Pillar whose poison, no one could ever hope to fully replicate.

This little Kochou just eyed him mischievously, grinning that wolfish grin that she— now he— only ever wore around a select few.
