This story is loosely inspired by the song lyrics to Panjabiwala by Habib Wahid and Shireen Jawad.
Kanao Tsuyuri and Tanjirou Kamado were supposed to hang out this upcoming Sunday. Kanao even received two tickets and a free parking voucher for them to go to an art museum together. However, life is full of unexpected surprises, and Tanjirou had to cancel their Sunday plans due to a family emergency. Kanao is not going to let the tickets and parking voucher go to waste, so she ends up asking Genya Shinazugawa last minute if he would like to go with her on Sunday.
According to Genya Shinazugawa, Kanao Tsuyuri could have her pick of men, and yet, it was he she wanted. She could have been with Tanjirou Kamado or Kaigaku Inadama, so why him?
Well, it's not like it's a real proper date, or is it? After all, they are best friends and practically family members due to their respective eldest siblings marrying one another. Perhaps one Sunday at an art museum is all it takes for them to see each other in a new light. Maybe the scheming done by Shinobu Kochou and Shizu Shinazugawa paid off for the best. After all, there's nothing like having your elders play matchmaker and it working out wonderfully!

When Kojiro sees it himself, he nearly falls off of his board entirely.
You’re my sweetheart, the sign reads, the letters framed with cherry blossom branches. It’s not very subtle—it’s obviously a message meant for Kaoru. Kojiro has no idea why Adam would do such a thing during a beef between Kojiro and Kaoru, but the uneasy feeling that’s been stirring in his gut since he’d arrived at S tonight is starting to grow.
Kaoru finishes scrutinizing the sign to whip around to squint at Kojiro. Kojiro’s hands shoot up in the air.
