Summary
Times are lean for Cad Bane, living in the margins of a once-stunning reputation. A deal he made with a Jedi is amounting to nothing more than silence and solitude. But news smashes into the Outer Rim like a cannon shot: the Separatists have invaded the Duro sector in a catastrophic push. The Galactic Core is in a panic. The Duros people are crushed.
And the Jedi? Obi-Wan Kenobi? Well, they all have a hundred other concerns, don’t they?
Duro, of course, is no longer Bane’s home, so if opportunities should arise from this situation… that’s perfect. He can return and do business. A Duros of his skillset ought to be in high demand.
This isn’t personal. It’s fine.
