Keith grabbed Lance around the shoulders and pulled Lance close to him, giving Lance a much-needed hug, before telling him words he didn’t wish to hear.
“Please, wake up. Lance, I just want you to wake up!”
“Wake up, but I am not-----”
Lance jolted awake, throwing the lion pillow that he was hugging far away from him. Sleeping, he was sleeping. Keith was never alive, nor was he in Red. He was still dead. Lance gave a sigh, pondering his dream, it had felt so real. Maybe he should go check, just in case.
