Summary
Amala Kamau is settling into her new life with her roommates (and best friends) Aspen Jha, and Hue Connors after the recent breakup and missing case of her ex-girlfriend.
They have been living together for over six months when they realize a Sectional Clearing --a deadly and life-ruining event for anyone who isn't a wealthy elite in The Citadel-- is being planned locally. In an attempt to stop this Aspen, Hue, and Amala decide to create a peaceful protest against the recent tyranny of their government. In the bloody aftermath, an organization planning to overthrow their government reaches out to them— needing people to represent them effectively.The story spirals into a fantastic rendition of friendship, ethical dilemmas, grief, and a large sum of queerness as the cherry on top.
