Summary
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of good fortune, must be in want of a wife. Even though Adam is fit to secure the estate of his well respected father, the town and court has deemed him unfit. Now it is up to his siters to bring in a new heir "fit" to inherit the land.
