Summary
The Eisner siblings have been a lot of places in their lives, but they never thought their nomadic lifestyle would lead them to Garreg Mach.
Blaine, the brother, will be the professor of the Golden Deer and while, objectively speaking, neither of them should teach, of the two he's the better choice - much to Rhea's chagrin. While Blaine tries to keep his messy self pulled together and navigate his increasingly complicated love life, his sister, Byleth, becomes a student of the Blue Lions when she sees her own darkness echoed in the eyes of the House leader, slowly realising that maybe she doesn't need a heart after all. Come navigate the world of "what the hell am I doing" as they stumble through their new lives.
And that's just part one.
The school is a mess, but these siblings are messier, and the two have more than their fair share of work cut out for them if they want to survive. Best hold on, it's a hell of a ride.

Dimitri lost track of dozens of friends during the Battle of Garreg Mach, especially from the other Houses. Historians would declare the battle was won in the first hour, when the empire forced its way through the desolate marketplace, trampling abandoned wares in their wake.
Records would deny the use of students from the Officer’s Academy for offensive manouvres. These lies were eventually stricken from published documents, and any archives found with these same falsities, were corrected under the new King of Faerghus’ reigime.
Ten years after the Battle of Garreg Mach, a new document was published, a collective record of events, taken from survivors and compiled on perhaps the most grotesque and truthful exploration of the past failings of both the church and the Empire.
Authored by the new archbishop Byleth Eisner and dedicated to the new dawn three house leaders once sought in unity.
