Hell – there’s even a couple of people from the country club by his parents house that still (bizarrely) invite him to the occasional dinner and party and whatever rich people bullshit they get up to.
Does he have any actual friends? No, not really.

But Patrick Zweig learnt a long time ago that he was not the kind of person you can be friends with.

Patrick knew Art was going to fall before he even hit the ground. As Marshall’s shot went wide, Art - stupidly - dove to swing at it. Patrick saw his left foot cross over his right, and he went down, legs tangled; hitting the court with a smack, the sound of the impact dulled by an intake of breath from the spectators.
