Aunelle de Sailieux, of the noble Sailieux family of Ishgard, finds herself wounded and unconscious after defeating and absorbing Titania's Lightwarden Light during the events of Shadowbringers. In the dreams that follow her encounter with this being, she falls into memories of another life, and a vision of a woman who follows her into the waking world. There to speak with her and her other ghostly companion of late, here on the First; Ardbert. Each of them confused about this unusual circumstance.
What comes of their interactions, and the sudden arrival of someone dear to this woman's heart from her past, will determine the fate of this Lightblasted world. And determine the fate of Aunelle in her continuing quest to help the Scions and Exarch save the First, and herself.
