Kirby was woken up from slumber 200 years too early for duty. It wasn't something anyone really thought about besides the fact it meant he was a baby warrior. So now, Nightmare is defeated, he can live in peace with everyone else! Everything is fine, peaceful, and every day with his friends is as good as ever. He gets to live his life out with them, but...something's odd. The kids don't want to play jump-rope or ball anymore. Everyone seems to get taller and have new interests that can hardly keep his attention. Even Tokkori seems less small, now. Kirby has not been given the full reality that he is not the same as everyone else. Everyone grows up, and he will too someday...but not with the rest of them. Other people are changing more and more as the years go by. He is different because he is the same.

A shady merchant claiming to hail from a "distant star" has arrived in Dreamland to... offer Kirby premium discounts? His strange and alien wares include magical items and technology which can help Kirby remain safe in battle with monsters, but where and how did he get all these things, and what are they? More importantly, what kind of merchant travels long distances just to lose money? And why does he keep insulting the hero?
