Before Moonshadow, God of the Eclipse, there was Vesper; A half-drow "child" of Bhaal destined to end divinity with the Chosen of Bane at his side.

Astarion starts his day very strangely. For one, he’s not on the filthy kennel mattress and for another, he’s not being burnt to a crisp under the very bright, but beautiful sunlight. All in all, not a bad end to a kidnapping. Now that he's been given a chance to have his vengeance on his master, and to live a life of his choosing, all Astarion has to do is stay alive and gather allies he can use in his quest to kill Cazador.

The Chosen of Bane isn't supposed to love a son of the God of Murder in the first place, however he definitely shouldn't be worrying himself sick over the man. Or letting him off easy for attempts on his life. Or thirsting over him. The latter is arguably the worst.
The Chosen of Bhaal isn't doing much better, the Urges in his head having half a mind to kill his ally and half a mind to indulge in carnal sins that he's sure his Father would never approve of. But he's coping. Sure, he almost knifed Bane's chosen the other day... But what's a bit of casual knifeplay between allies?
Or: Slow(ish) burn between Gortash and a Bhaalspawn who, much to both their dismay, has been going more and more feral recently. The reason reveals itself in time, but mutual denial and religious guilt keeps both from acknowledging their true feelings and leaving them in a serious situationship in order to keep both of them alive and breathing.
