The twins were three months old. His body had completely regenerated, and he was eager to play with his husband. But Alastor either didn't take the hint or was consciously ignoring him. So Lucifer decided to do what the devil does best: tempt and scheme.

When Vox leaves them alone for atleast mere minutes, it was enough for Alastor to resume the course of his plan, a deal with the devil himself, and using its right words to manipulate Lucifer by his daughter, it was enough.

Lucifer would refuse to do any deal with anyone, even worse with THIS, mortal, infuriating and evil mortal, atleast it is for a good cause, protect and help his daughter, Charlie, right?

Striking a deal that shall secure Alastor's power in hell again, since he realize that without the chain from Rosie and, even with a fixed staff, his strength has depleted. Significantly.
Lucifer, the king of hell, vulnerable against sinners but still the most powerful being, it can't be bad to striking a deal with the fallen angel. A few push and manipulation can work things out in his favor.
But, amidst of this arrangement he can't understand this feeling that is growing in him. It's both irritating and driving.
