Heeseung ha vivido siempre al margen, sobreviviendo en una ciudad devorada por el control y la vigilancia. You groaned as you woke up, in a small room. Looking around it looked like a closet. The one that you could kind of walk into. Noises were heard from outside of the door of the closet. You stayed where you were and hoped that whoever was outside there didn’t hear you. How did you get in here?
You were just outside on the streets, drinking a hot beverage from a guy that you met a few weeks ago. He had always given you food and something to keep you warm. That opened your eyes. Your mind pushed you awake to look around to grasp the situation here. You felt weak and disorientated. Did your friend drug you?

Summary
Swordsmiths Gan Jiang and Mo Ye's marriage may seem happy on the outside, but they're struggling behind public eye. Ever since Gan and Mo reincarnated as sword spirits, Gan changed significantly: he became an obsessive and borderline abusive husband to prevent from losing his wife again. Apart from heated arguments, the couple also struggles with debt, primarily brought by Gan's outburst towards other swordsmiths prior to their reincarnation.
In their toughest moments, their sworn enemy returned. Donghuang Taiyi offered to lend them money, and with no other choice, Mo Ye agreed, even though her husband has a burning rage for the emperor. She kept it a secret from Gan and her heart shatters as he gets more violent each day. Eventually, her visits became less about loans - she sought comfort from Donghuang her husband failed to give.
"Maybe Donghuang isn't that bad." His generosity isn't something he gives for free, though. Sure enough, he asks for his money to be repaid in his own, unhinged way.
