Jill is afraid Umbrella has something terrible in store for them, and she wants nothing more than to get her remaining friends to safety.
Leon should be happy, he is the best cadet to graduate from the Police Academy, but he is miserable. However, he still has hope, since he’s going to start his life anew. A hope that is a fading flame.
Carlos is a ray of sunshine, he strives to be because no matter what life brings you, there’s always a reason to smile and be kind to others. He just wants to bring joy, hiding his sadness.
Nicholai is the scum of the earth and he feels no shame. When the world wants nothing more than to drown you in shit, whoring yourself up to the top is the most suitable solution. Anything has a price tag until your conscience knocks on your door like an unwelcome, rotten guest.

Noting that Chris had set aside some folders when their collision happened, Leon asked, “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Could you take those files up to Chief Irons?” Chris nodded toward the folders in question, already backing toward the door; intent on going to wash off in the locker room, no doubt. “They’re victim profiles for the Mannequin Killer case–” a series of grotesque murders where the bodies of five young people had been found scattered around the area, taxidermied until they were doll-like “–and he said he wanted to review them again.”
Leon nodded as Chris left, but glanced toward Wesker when he huffed behind his desk, shaking his head a little. “I am not sure why Irons is so fixated on that investigation,” their captain said, waving a hand. “But by all means, Kennedy–go.” The barest hint of a chuckle. “Just don’t linger too long in the chief’s pleasant company.”
