Summary
Jinx (Noun) is a Person or thing that brings bad luck.
One should never wish luck to someone about to start Hogwarts, as it is seen as a Jinx. Those words echoed from house to house in the wizarding world. Since a Malfoy heir was sorted into Hufflepuff in 1672, Pureblood families created the rumour and forbade anyone from wishing their child 'good luck'.
Regulus forgot about the curse and wished his older brother good luck on his first day at Hogwarts and now follows the series of events that lead up to his breakdown.
Inspired by Powder and Vi's relationship from LOL Arcane, I wrote a silly little drabble on Tumblr, and now here comes a mini-series.
Probs going to end up being Jegulus, and no one will die (maybe), but it's going to be dark as fuck.

Marlene made it five steps before she froze in front of a car that had been a few seconds away from running her down. The windows were tinted so Marlene couldn’t see who was inside but they started blaring the horn at her so Marlene slammed her hand down on the hood.
“Touch my car again, I fucking dare you.” A head poked out of a window and Marlene froze for the second time. The voice owner was easily the prettiest girl that Marlene had ever seen. “Are you deaf? Get the fuck out of the way,” the girl snapped.
Marlene shook her head like she could shake away the distraction of pretty girls. “You almost hit me.”
“You’re walking around the parking lot like a headless chicken, you’re lucky I stopped in time."

Summary
While growing up, it was assumed that Lan Xichen was next in line for succession. No one could believe it when the moody and quiet second son of the emperor presented as the alpha and not the more amicable and diplomatic first son.
