Summary
Kim Hyukkyu is the 12th. Eleven EVA pilots before him, eleven legacies that only outstanding excellence could ever hope to rival, eleven reasons his life isn't his own. Even Unit 4 isn't his: its previous pilot is said to have died in battle, but Hyukkyu hears him loud and clear every time he steps into the entry plug.
Lee Sanghyuk is luckier. He's the 3rd: Unit 3's first pilot, and against all odds, still alive. Hyukkyu can't stand it.
