Summary
Instead of embarrassing himself with a foolish proposal, Gendry and Arya part as friends and those words left unsaid. But when Cersei is murdered by Euron Greyjoy (who then blows up King's Landing in his own madness), Daenerys has enough of Westeros and leaves the rule of the Seven Kingdoms in better hands.
And Tyrion isn't an idiot anymore.
