Hermione Granger goes into her 6th year of Hogwarts, unknowingly bound to two different wizards. One is her soul bound boyfriend of a year, and the other is her resurrected, secret-to-her husband. The year starts off with neither of the wizards knowing about the other, and vying for her affections. Each bond comes with its own consequences, and naturally neither wizard has the good sense to clue Hermione in. Complications ensue as she's caught between the two, and they're all unwittingly intertwined.
All the while, Hermione questions if she has any free will regarding these two connections, or if she's simply a victim of fate.
The story won't be told chronologically. Most of the focus will be on 6th year, with flashbacks to her secret relationship, and her unknown marriage.
